You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Aphrodisias, an ancient city renowned for its well-preserved ruins. The highlights of Aphrodisias include the Sebasteion, Theater, Agora, Tiberius Portico, Hadrian Baths, Bishop’s Palace, Aphrodite Temple, Odeon, Stadium, and Tetrapylon. After exploring these historical sites, you will have free time to visit the Aphrodisias Museum.
Next, we will visit Laodicea, a city founded by Seleucid King Antiochus II, who named it after his wife, Laodice. Laodicea later became a prosperous Roman city, famous for its wool and cotton textiles. It is also mentioned in the Book of Revelation as the “Church of the Resurrection” and holds great significance in Christian history. Located just 10 kilometers from Pamukkale, the ancient ruins of Laodicea are truly worth exploring.
After the museum visit, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will drive back to your hotel, concluding our tour.
